About Me

For those who know me, it’s no surprise:  I’m a travel bug. It’s both a blessing and a curse– but mostly a blessing.

I’m not exactly sure when my intense love for travel truly began. A part of me wants to believe I was born with this unquenchable thirst for adventure. But if I’m being realistic, I’d have to say it started in the summer of 2012 when I studied photojournalism and international relations at Cambridge University. My experience in England helped guide me to where I am today, a graduate of the University of Georgia with a dual degree in journalism and international relations.

As a Southern California native, the University of Georgia attracted me like any other adventure would: a new city, fresh faces and an opportunity to learn. And boy, have I learned.

Speaking of learning, did I mention I had the incredible opportunity of studying abroad not once…but twice?! I know, I’m one lucky gal. I was fortunate enough to spend the summer of 2015 in Prague, Czech Republic, and then continued my adventures in Verona, Italy during the spring of 2016.

But a travel bug is only one way to describe me. I’m also a passionate writer and photographer, an avid social media lover, a proud feminist and a cake decorator in-training.
